Why I Like Cooking Fish
Fish cooking has never been my favorite thing to do. It's probably because I don't have any easy fish recipe. I have attempted to bake fish, with the lid on or lid off but it isn't the same as the fish recipe.
My own recipe here is to take some tilapia or white fish, bake it after mixing the same with stouffers creamed spinach. First, the spinach is cooked in water in a pouch and then the same is poured on the fish and then the same is baked at 400 degrees so that the fish turns flaky. Every body loves it as it adds color and taste to an otherwise tasteless fish. I usually bake it uncovered.
I would like to get more fish into my diet. grilled fish Recipe Ingredients: 600 gm fillet of Pomfret Fish 1 Lemon For marinade: 50 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 pod Garlic (minced) A few sprigs of Rosemary or Oregano Salt and pepper to season How to make Grilled Fish: For the marinade, mix all the ingredients though roughly in a mixing bowl and give it a good whisk. First coat well the marimade and fill it with clean fish and then grill the same in a non-stick pan on a medium range flame.
The thickness of the filet will determine how long to grill, usually being 2-3 minutes until ready. Serve it with a squeeze of lemon and a big salad. The best salmon recipes tend to include lemon juice. Acidic juice, paprika, dill, basil, salt and pepper work well for the natural flavor of the fish.
Let your guests know there could be bones in the dish to avoid someone accidentally choking on one. Even if you find a recipe that recommends sauteing, your best bet for a healthy meal is going to be baking your salmon. Baking or grilling your food instead of frying or sauteing will drastically cut down the fat you consume. Enjoy and bon appetite!
